Are your services confidential?
Yes, your privacy is my top priority. All investigations are handled discreetly, and no one will know you’ve hired me unless you choose to share that information. My process is secure and confidential, ensuring your information remains completely protected.
What is private space and what is public space?
Private space refers to any property owned by an individual.
Public space is land or property owned by the government, unless it is specifically marked as restricted or off-limits.
How long will my investigation take?
The duration of an investigation can vary based on several factors. Some cases can be resolved quickly, while others take longer due to the complexity or difficulty in obtaining information. To get a clearer idea for your particular case, please reach out to us by phone or email.
Who do you work with?
I provide services to governments, corporations, small businesses, and private individuals. My work helps identify and address wrongdoing, uncover factual evidence, and offer impartial third-party accounts of events.
What sets an exceptional Private Investigator apart from the rest?
While many factors play a role, truly outstanding investigators combine life experience, specialized training, certifications, and a unique way of thinking. They approach each case with curiosity, problem-solving skills, and the ability to think outside the box. A great PI thrives on uncovering the truth, piecing together puzzles, and navigating complex situations with intelligence and persistence!
Do Private Investigators need a license?
Yes. A license is required when accepting payment for investigative or exploratory work, as well as for performing certain specific tasks. Private Investigators undergo background checks both before receiving their license and throughout the licensing period. Licenses must be renewed every 24 months, with a new background check completed at each renewal.
Can you follow someone without them knowing?
Yes. Surveillance is a common part of investigations and is conducted lawfully and discreetly to avoid detection.
Can you arrest people?
Technically, Private Investigators can lawfully detain individuals, though this is not the same as an official police arrest. Any detention must follow legal guidelines for the appropriate use of force. The level of force used is determined by the actions of the individual being detained—if they escalate, we may respond with equal or lesser force to safely manage the situation.
Can you get information from phone records, emails, or social media?
I can access publicly available information and use legal investigative tools to trace online activity. I cannot hack, access private accounts, or retrieve data illegally.
Can you work in other provinces or countries?
I am licensed to operate in Ontario and can collaborate with trusted investigators in other regions or internationally if your case requires it.
